CERTIFIED BUILDING PROFESSIONALS and Their Importance To You.
The Association of Pool & spa Professionals (APSP) is the world’s largest international trade association and leading advocate representing the swimming pool and spa industry. The safe and enjoyable use of pools and spas is a priority for APSP members.
The APSP created an educational training program for members to become a CERTIFIED BUILDING PROFESSIONAL. In order for a pool-builder to become certified they must complete a written exam on pool and spa construction standards. Once certification is attained, CBP’s must participate in ongoing continuing education requirements to maintain their certifcation.
